Tupelo Honey Restaurant is new to The Market Common and is a must see on your vacation to Myrtle Beach. If you enjoy southern cooking, then you’ve come to the right place. The motto for Tupelo Honey is, “Creative Southern Food That’s Good for The Soul.”
The restaurant space is formerly known as the Tommy Bahamas location. Walking into the restaurant you will notice vaulted ceilings, a smiling staff, happy customers and a large seating area. You can take a gander at the original artwork on the walls, which can be found at each Tupelo Honey location. Guests can choose to enjoy a meal on the outdoor patio or inside at one of the many tables or the bar.
Tupelo Honey has a large menu with a variety of items including salads, sandwiches, Southern small plates, seasonal dishes and sides. Each meal comes with a delicious homemade biscuit, honey and jam. To start off the meal, we recommend the pimento cheese dip or fried green tomatoes to get that true Lowcountry flavor. When selecting an entrée, guests can get a variety of food items with the ability to build your meal. First pick your main protein, which could be Grilled Atlantic Salmon, Carolina Mountain Trout, Curried Fried Chicken Thighs, Bacon Meatloaf and Buttermilk Fried Chicken. Then select two sides from fried okra, sautéed southern greens, shoestring fries or cheesy smashed cauliflower.
You can enjoy a meal at Tupelo Honey daily from 11 a.m. – 10 p.m. Reservations are recommended, especially during the summer season. For more information or reservations call, 843-215-3870.
